This specialized treatment uses radiofrequency energy that penetrates deep into the skin and tissues to heat and remove unwanted fat while at the same time, tightening the skin. This treatment can be used for fat reduction, skin tightening, reducing cellulite, and improving overall skin tone. For most patients, only one or two treatments are necessary to achieve their desired results, though some patients have TruSculpt ID treatments completed regularly every few months to continually improve their body contours. Who is a candidate for TruSculpt ID treatments?
Our doctors will evaluate patients to determine if they are a proper candidate for this or other skin tightening and body contouring options. During an initial evaluation, patients are examined and should discuss their medical history with our professionals to determine candidacy. Patients should not:
- Be pregnant
- Have cardiac pacemakers
- Have internal defibrillators
- Present with tumors in the targeted area
- Have metallic implants, including joint replacements
These can interfere with the radiofrequency devices and cause other concerns that can be avoided.
