How Micropigmentation Can Change Your Life
In 2017, large, dark, eyebrows were all the rage, and lucky for you, that trend isn’t going anywhere in 2018. If, however, you have thin eyebrows that you just can’t seem to grow in— thanks to your overplucking in your highschool days— then you may want to consider getting micropigmentation done. And although micropigmentation can be done on your eyebrows, it can also be done on other parts of your face including your lips, around your eyes, your nipples, and other areas.
What Is Micropigmentation?
Micropigmentation is often mistaken for permanent tattoo makeup. Although the procedure itself is similar, it isn’t permanent— in fact, it typically lasts two to five years on average. Directly after your hyperpigmentation session and for up to six days following, the pigment in your skin will be a lot darker and more pronounced— however, it will fade to a more natural looking color.
Eyebrows
As previously mentioned, we can perform micropigmentation on patients who want to have fuller and darker looking eyebrows. During your initial consultation, we will show you samples of what your eyebrows can look like so that we make sure you get the exact shape you want.
Lips
Lip Liner is one of the best ways to accentuate your lips and make them look fuller. However, as soon as you eat a meal or anything, you have to reapply it. With micropigmentation for your lips, we can line your lips using a natural looking shade to help give you a more voluminous pout but without you having to reapply makeup.
Areolas
Whether you have just had breast reconstruction surgery or if you simply want larger looking nipples, we can use micropigmentation to make them look larger and darker.
If you want to shave some time off of your morning routine, then we have got you covered. To learn more about these micropigmentation procedures or to schedule your consultation, contact one of our Skin & Laser Surgery Center locations today!
